Our classic competitive teams compete at the highest competitive level within Arkansas Youth Soccer Association (ASA), as well as in various leagues across the region.
Coached by our professional and paid coaching staff, classic teams train at least 2 times a week, compete in 8-10 League games, and will attend 2-3 tournaments throughout each season (Fall/Spring). Positions within the classic competitive program are year-long commitments for a 10 month season, August through May.
The classic competitive program will appeal to players at the top of their game and want to continue their rapid upward trajectory or are looking to play a high level of soccer within the state of Arkansas. A player is provided with a higher level of coaching, preparation, and competition.
Competitive players follow an intricately designed curriculum aimed at helping build their soccer IQs, technical proficiency, and mental and physical conditioning as they prepare to advance to the elite levels of play. Should a player desire and be capable of more than the classic competitive program, the next step would be placement on an ECNL-RL team, the highest level of play within the state of Arkansas. (To learn more about the ECNL-RL program, click here.) In addition, our coaches are adept at keeping players motivated and maintaining healthy interactions with their teammates while maintaining the balance between productivity and enjoyment.
Our classic competitive teams compete in local, statewide, and regional offerings that cover the spectrum of pathways in preparing a player for the next level. In order to play for Arkansas Rising, a player will need to tryout. Our tryouts will be held late spring 2025. (To learn more about out tryout process, click here).

Arkansas Rising Soccer Club formerly known as Little Rock Futbol Club has been a 501c3 nonprofit youth organization serving our community since 1980. Our principal mission is the promotion of youth soccer. We strive to instill a love for the game in each of our players and to provide an atmosphere where each player may participate and progress according to his or her interest and ability. We take great pride in developing our players as athletes, students and responsible young men and women. Our players form life-long friendships with their club mates, acquire leadership, teamwork and sportsmanship skills that ultimately prepare them for life beyond soccer.
